Matter was founded by Charles “Charlie” Cooper, a creative director, filmmaker, and multidisciplinary artist with a background in storytelling, media, and creative strategy.

At the core of Matter is a simple philosophy: everything we create comes from the same foundation. No matter the scale, every project carries meaning, intention, and a human connection that goes beyond what’s visible on the surface.

That belief shapes how we approach film.

We see your work not by its budget, but by its potential. Your film holds the same creative value as any high-level production — and it deserves to be seen, recognized, and taken seriously.
